Once or twice a month, my husband takes Winston with him into the office.
Fortunately, it’s a very dog friendly office.
Which, as you can imagine for slightly (read: very) anti-social Winston, is not ideal 😆
There’s one dog in particular who absolutely terrifies him.
And to be honest, I don’t blame Winston.
This beauty – Macca – looks more like a small horse than a dog.
Isn’t he beautiful?

🧘🏼 Stress levels matter to them as much as us
In case you weren't already aware... Corgis are people dogs. Just two minutes of sitting on the floor with them (no phones, no distractions) lowers their cortisol levels.
It’s a simple, free way to keep their heart and immune system in good shape (and it’s fun for you, too!).

💆♀️ 10-min dog massage while you're watching TV
I came across this video by Senior Pet Vet, Dr. Shannon Nash, with an easy massage routine that can be used for dogs of any age, but is especially great for seniors with back pain or weakness.
"When dogs have spinal issues like IVDD, arthritis, spondylosis, or degenerative myelopathy, muscles along the spine can get tight and painful.
This 10-minute routine releases tension, improves circulation, and supports mobility."
Important: If your dog has acute IVDD (sudden paralysis or severe pain), consult your vet first. This routine is for chronic management.

This is your sign to book a doggy photoshoot 📸
A couple of months ago, I booked a 35-minute session at Candid Studios in west London — and it’s such a fun concept. It’s a self-portrait studio, which means there’s no photographer… but everything is set up for you: the camera, lighting, props, the lot. You just turn up and press the button.
One wet, windy Friday morning, Winston and I made the journey over there. Despite being a tiny bit soaked (can you tell 😆?), we had the BEST time posing away.
Winston had a great time because I was dispensing approximately five treats per minute to keep him quiet and well behaved. I had the best time because… look at the lighting. It was so flattering.

We recommend...
If giving your dog a bath feels like wrestling an eel, this bathing tether will work wonders. It’s a heavy-duty suction cup and leash that keeps them securely in place while you scrub. No more soggy escapes or trying to hold them still with one hand while rinsing with the other. It makes the whole process way less messy!

🧡 Are Corgis a good first dog?
Corgis may be small (and extremely cute!) but they’re also highly intelligent and can be demanding. Let’s take a closer look at a Corgi’s personality and whether they’re the right fit for a first time dog owner.

Corgi of the day
Meet Cinder. She's 9 months old in this photo, and according to her owner she's amazing, funny and a bit of a tease! Sometimes she can even be a little bit of a bully to her two older dogs... (a big character in a little body, neevvveerrr heard such a thing 😅)
