I took my corgi to a hot sauce festival
This past week's been a fun one for Winston. Wonderful news from the vet!
I'm so happy to share the wonderful news that Winston's CT scan came back completely clear! 7 years old and no luxating patella (what the vet thought it might be), no signs of arthritis, no bulging discs, no nothing! After a protracted and painful wait for the results (I wrote about that here), my husband and I are so happy he has a completely clean bill of health. Last Monday we had a scary incident with Winston. I went to take him out for his night wee and when I picked him up to place him in his harness, he cried out in pain. He couldn't stand up for more than a few seconds — and suddenly I started panicking. Had something happened to his spine? My sister loves babysitting Winston. There are a few reasons for this (she loves the way he follows her around the apartment, she loves the way he curls up beside her in bed), but one of the biggest is that he's so easy to take out on a walk. Once or twice a month, my husband takes Winston with him into the office. Fortunately, it’s a very dog friendly office.
